Step 1. Get The Information
Check your loan agreements or credit card statements to see if you have payment protection insurance in place. Different lenders have different titles for this insurance, such as loan protection insurance, card protection insurance, platinum insurance etc.
If you see insurance mentioned anywhere, regradless of its name, it is more than likely to be payment protection insurance. If you are still unsure we can request the information from your lender.
Then fill out our form at the top of this page.
Step 2. Assess The Claim
We will then send you our basic paperwork that needs to be signed by you. We will send the forms to you and allow you a 14 day cooling off period. Once we receive them back we'll review your claim for FREE! - We only charge you if we are successful in relaiming your PPI back.
Step 3. Challenge Your Lender
Once we have assesed the claim and accepted it we will correspond with your lender setting out the reasons why the Payment Protection was mis-sold to you. Your lender will research the claim and will either contest it, turn the claim down or accept it in full.
If we do not receive a satisfactory outcome from the lender we will take the case to the financial ombudsman. (If we feel it is strong enough to succeed-89% of the claims that go to the ombudsman succeed). This of course is at no extra cost
to you, our client.
Step 4. Negotiate Maximum Settlement
We'll also reclaim interest on the insurance payments paid and added to the loan and any other claim that can be justified. Any refunds of premiums plus interest will be forwarded to you by the lender and you will pay our fee as and when you receive your payment.
How Long Will The Claim Take?
Most claims take 2 - 4 months to settle, some complicated cases may take longer (Claims that go to the Financial Ombudsman will take 9 months).
